Andrew McFadyen-Ketchum is an award-winning authorghostwriter, editor, writing coach, and Lecturer of creative writing and English composition at the Uniuversity of Colorado Boulder.

He is also Acquisitions Editor for Upper Rubber Boot Books, Founder & Editor of PoemoftheWeek.org, Founder & Editor of the Floodgate Poetry Series, Founder of the Little Grassy Literary Festival, editor of The Plume Edition's Anthology of Long-ish Poems (forthcoming), editor of Apocalypse Now: Poems & Prose from the Ends of Days, and Contributing Editor of the Southern Indiana Review.

His first book of poems, Ghost Gear (University of Arkansas Press, 2014), was a finalist for the Miller Williams Prize, the Colorado Book Award, and an INDIEFAB. His second manuscript of poems, Visiting Hours, was a finalist for the National Poetry Series, the Jake Adam York Poetry Prize, the Georgia Prize, and the Akron Poetry Seriesand is currently a Semi-Finalist for 2017 Miller Williams Prize. 

His poemsreviewsinterviewsarticles, and podcasts have appeared in periodicals such as The Writer's Chronicle, Poets & Writers, The Southern Poetry Anthology, Glimmer Train, American Literary Review, The Spoon River Poetry Review, The Missouri Review, storySouth, Blackbird, and InsideHigherEd.com among others. 

Andrew holds an MFA in Poetry from Southern Illinois University.
